Sustainable Recreation Framework

In 2005 the Lough Neagh Advisory Committee commissioned a Baseline Information Project and Sustainable Recreation Framework for the Lough Neagh Wetlands.

The framework sets out the current situation regarding recreation and tourism provision within the Lough Neagh Wetlands, looks at current development and issues; and provides recommendations on the sensitivity of sites. local people, and the economy in relation to recreational and developmental activity.
